Admission is done through a combined entrance test conducted by the State University (Punjab/Punjabi/Guru Nanak Dev University) during the month of July every year. The score obtained in the test is the criterion of merit. 15 percent of the seats are filled on An India basis and 85 percent seats from the State pool.
