The Government of Tamil Nadu makes admission to B.E/B.Tech courses of all the affiliated colleges through TNEA Counselling administered by Anna University, Chennai.
A merit list is prepared based on the class 12th board exam.
Candidates whose names are mentioned on the merit list have to appear for the TNEA counselling.
Such applicants need to first register on the official portal of TNEA.
After registration, they have to visit at any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their documents for verification.
Upon successful verification, candidates have to fill the choice of course and college (KCT)
Based on the choices filled and score obtained in board exams, seat allotment will be done
Those who will be allotted a seat need to confirm the seat and report at the allotted college in order to complete the further admission process.
