Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or recognized exams equivalent to it, with 50% qualifications in Biology / Biotechnology separately, and 50% qualifications in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology together, are eligible. In the absence of biology, biotechnology will be considered as a subject of academic eligibility. SC / ST / OBC candidates will be eligible for relaxation in the minimum marks according to the standards prescribed by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
