CIT Chennai cut-off are based on the marks scored in class 12th exams. The marks of Maths, Physics and Chemistry are considered for determining the cut-off. Chennai Institute of Technology cut off vary each year and there are various factors which are responsible for determining the cut-off. A rank list is created based on the marks in the three subjects and the opening and closing rank is declared by the institute. The marks of the candidates which fall between the opening and closing ranks are eligible to apply for admissions.
