The institute releases the cutoff for undergraduate programmes. After the declaration of the 10+2 examination result, the RMD Engineering College cutoff is released. The RMD Engineering College is the minimum score required by the candidates to be eligible for B.E/B.Tech admission. Several factors are taken into account to determine the RMD Engineering College cutoff such as the number of applicants, the number of seats, the difficulty level of the qualifying exam and previous year cutoff trends. Later, candidates meeting the RMD Engineering College cutoff are required to participate in the TNEA counselling.
