Facilities

  • Boys Hostel
    The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Students who do not live with their parents/guardians should, as a rule, reside in the college hostel. Only students of B.C.M. College are generally allowed to reside in the hostel. The management and day-to-day administration of the hostel will be by Rev. Sisters appointed by the Manager. All matters connected with the hostel will be dealt with by the warden and if needed by the Principal. All inmates will have to obey the rules and regulations of the hostel.
  • Girls Hostel
    The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.   • Gym
    The college was a fitness center that was started under the guidance of the Department of Physical Education to promote health and fitness among students and staff.
  • Library
    The college has a library facility for all students. The college library performs a vital function in the educational process as it is the key source of information for the academic community. Our library is a treasure house of information, inspiration, and recreation. The library has at present a collection of over 46,000 books, 42 periodicals, and 29 Journals. The library functions from 9 am to 5.30 pm. The college library is kept open on all days except on Sundays and public holidays. Only the staff and students of the college are members of the library. has been computerized with the e-cataloging system with the installation of the software KOHA, which helps students and teachers to locate books easily. Each year the best library user is felicitated.
  • Sports
    The college has a sports facility The college motivates and facilitates the students interested in sports, games, and fitness. It provides special training in Handball, Table tennis, Basketball, Kabaddi, Shuttle badminton, Yoga, Athletics, Wrestling, Cycling, Karate, and Taekwondo and the abilities of the student. All the students of the college are expected to take part in sports and games and other physical education activities since it is very essential for their total personality development.
  • Cafeteria
    The college canteen functions on all working days and provides meals, snacks, refreshments, cool drinks, etc. It is governed by a committee comprising representatives of the teaching and student community.
  • Auditorium
    The college has an auditorium which has the capacity of housing 2000 people, is used for all the major functions of the college.
  • Medical/Hospital
    The college has a health center that has been provided within the campus for the welfare of sick students.
  • IT Infrastructure
    The college has two computer centers functioning now, as the syllabi are modified with the inclusion of information technology as a subject for all programs. Students make use of the computer center for their studies.
  • Laboratories
    The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Language Lab assists in effectively improving the communicative skills of students in the English language. It has been revamped with the addition of 45 computers and the latest relevant materials.
  • Convenience Store
    The college is a Co-operative store that was started in the year 1976 and functions with the objectives of encouraging values of cooperation and self-reliance for both staff and students. It also aims at selling books, stationery, and other articles to its members at subsidized rates. The store committee is managed by elected representatives of staff and students.
  • Guest Room
    The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
