Anatomy Lecture Hall- The Lecture Hall of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram is well equipped with all modern facilities including LCD projectors and air conditioners. The lecture hall is provided with an accommodation of 200 students.
Anatomy Museum- The Anatomy Museum of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram is provided with more than 300 specimens and skeletons.
Central Biochemistry Lab- The Central Biochemistry Lab has been formed with the objective of conducting certain clinical investigations including Lipid profile, Hormones, Tumor Markers, Cardiac Markers, Glycated Hemoglobin, Electrophoresis, ABG Analysis etc.
Clinical Anesthesia- The Clinical Anesthesia department of GMC Thiruvananthapuram remains open for all emergency services 24X7.

Department Lab- The Department Lab of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram has been formed to conduct various tests including FBS/PPBS, Blood Urea, S.Creatinine, S.Uric Acid, S.Total protein, S.Albumin, SGOT, SGPT, Alkaline phosphatase, S Cholesterol, S Triglyceride, S Calcium, S phosphorus, S Potassium, S Sodium, Serum protein electrophoresis, Haemoglobin electrophoresis, Lipid profile, ABG analysis, T3, T4, TSH, fT3, fT4, Anti TPO, FSH, LH, Prolactin, PSA, CA 125, CA 19.9, CEA, AFP, Ferritin, TroponinI, CK MB, Hb AIC, URINE pH, 24 hr urine protein, Urine metabolic screening(chemical method), Urine VMA - screening, CSF analysis etc.
Dissection Hall- The Dissection Hall has a capacity to accommodate 200 MBBS , 50 BDS and 12 PG students.
Embalming Room- An Embalming Room is provided with equipment like cadaver injector, storage tank, bone and meat cutting machine etc.
Histology Lab- The Histology Lab of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram is well equipped with CCTV, microscopes, micro photographer, presenter and microtome. Another preparation room is also provided where slides are prepared for experiments like staining.
Research Room- A Research Room is also provided for conducting all research works.
OPD Facility- OPD facilities are also available inside Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram providing treatment to 300 patients including Antenatal, Gynaec, Post natal and Infertility patients.
Fertility Centre- The Fertility Centre of GMC Thiruvananthapuram provides IVF facilities with 25% pregnancy rate having andrology lab, embryology lab and laparoscopy theatre.
