Boys Hostel The College accommodates around 200 undergraduate male students in its hostel. It has a common room, a multifaceted gym and arrangements for indoor and outdoor games. Dining facilities are managed on a co-operative basis by a Mess Committee of resident students. Power back-up is now available 24 hours a day. Medical aid is provided at the World University Service Health Centre situated nearby. Wi-Fi facility is available to all the students. Students needing hostel accommodation should apply separately on a prescribed form (available from the College Hostel Office) immediately after finalization of their admission to the College. Admission to the College does not guarantee admission to the Hostel
Gym The College has recently taken the key initiative of improving the physical and mental healths of its students and staff members. As a part of this initiative, the College has developed a fitness centre. The centre comprises of latest exercise equipment supervised by fitness experts.
Library Hansraj College has a library with more than 1,35,000 titles and about 98 periodicals published in India and abroad. Hansraj library comprises four sections the Main Library, Individual Departmental Libraries (Sciences), the Periodicals and the Text Book Sections. Also, the library offers book-bank facilities to needy students to have access to books. It helps in lending textbooks to needy & deserving students for a period of one year at a stretch. The library has access to the internet, helping students to have access to e-resources.
Sports Hansraj College provides facilities for both indoor and outdoor games to its students. The college has a huge playground, a basketball court, and a shooting range court for various sports activities.
Cafeteria The College canteen is one of the liveliest areas of the campus. It is spread over 375 meters and accommodates about 150 users. Staff members and the students share the canteen with separate and common sitting areas. Our canteen aims at providing a variety of quality food & beverages at highly competitive rates. A multi-product retail outlet of Nestle is also functional adjacent to the main canteen building.
Auditorium The College has a feature-rich air-conditioned auditorium having a seating capacity of around 600 which makes it one of the largest auditoriums in the University. There is a premier waiting fornge outside the auditorium to pre-welcome the invitees and any special guests visiting the College.
Medical/Hospital The college has a medical room with all the necessary first aid and a mobile stretcher. A nurse has also been appointed for providing proper first aid during emergencies. On-call Doctor visit facility is also available. Hansraj is well connected to a hospital which is within 500m of its main gate.
Wifi The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
IT Infrastructure The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled with access to all the resources that the University provides centrally. Computers with internet connection are available both for students and teachers in the library, staff room and computer labs.
Laboratories Hansraj College Lab Facilities are well-equipped with the latest equipment and apparatus to facilitate students with a good practical environment along with theoretical learning. Some of the labs in the college are Computer Labs, Chemistry Labs, Physics Labs, Electronics Labs, Botany Labs, and Zoology Labs.
Guest Room To facilitate female students are common room with good seating arrangement and ambience along with female security attendantis present. It is located adjacent to auditorium hall.
