Girls Hostel Indraprastha College has two hostels, the Kalavati Gupta Hostel (KG Hostel), on its campus and the Indraprastha College Women's Hostel (IP Hostel), across the road opposite the College. With a total number of 450 (KG Hostel 280, IP Hostel 170) seats, they provide safe and comfortable boarding-lodging facility to out-station students for pursuing higher education. The Hostels are well-equipped with a Mess and Dining Hall, Laundry facilities, Wi-Fi and Fire extinguishers etc.Sports facilities in the hostels: Hostel Residents interested in the sports facilities of the college may avail all of them at the time slots outside their classes. Along with the extensive playgrounds, the college offers a wide range of sports activities. Residents can use the Gymnasium-cum-Fitness Center, the Swimming Pool, the Tennis and Badminton Courts, the Basketball and Netball Courts and the Archery facilities.Library facility in the hostels: There are libraries in both the hostels created out of books donated by teachers and students. These books are maintained by the hostel union. The hostels also subscribe to newspapers and magazines for the residents.Security: The College and the hostels have round-the-clock security guards service. CCTV cameras have also been placed at critical positions.

Library The Indraprastha College has a spacious Library which strives to create a lively and enriching intellectual environment for students, faculty and staff members. It has a lift for PH access. The Library is equipped with High- tech CCTV and Electronic Article Surveillance system to prevent pilferage. A book bank and customized software and reading materials in Braille for the visually challenged are available in the College Enabling Unit. The ICT center with 47 computers is also located in the Library. Its collections cater to both the students’ academic and recreational requirements. The library has the institutional membership with DELNET and UGC' N-LIST programme. E-Journals and other e-resources subscribed by the Delhi University Library System are accessed in the Library through Delhi-University-Wide-Network and other e-resources accessed remotely through UGC' N-LiST programme. The user-friendly fully computerized On-line Library catalog is available for access to students and faculties. It has a reading hall with the capacity of 205 members.
Sports The College has various teams like Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Baseball, Netball, Softball, Chess, Air Rifle Shooting, Air Pistol Shooting, Boxing, Swimming, Volleyball, Wrestling, Taekwondo, Judo, Tennis, and Yoga. All our teams keep participating in various events which add laurels to the college.The college has a well-equipped fitness center, squash court, tennis courts, badminton courts, basketball courts, climbing wall, walking track and playing arena for differently abled students to cater the needs of students looking for complete sports and fitness needs.
