Boys Hostel The College Hostel rooms for boys with mess facilities within the campus are expected to be ready by July 2019. The hostel accommodation will be on twin sharing basis. The hostel and mess fee together is expected to be around Rs One lakh per year. The exact figure will be informed at the time of admission.

Library The College well maintained institutional Library with the right blend of conventional and digital facets play a significant role in the teaching-learning process at IIITMK. The resources and infrastructure facilities of the activity area created with the objective of putting Information for Action help enhance quality assurance in the academic and research programmes undertaken by the institute. Some of the salient features of the Library System are : Institutional Access Facility to ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore & SpringerLink. These constitute the core commercially accessible e-Resources relevant to IIITMK. Access Facility to DOAJ, arXiv.org of Cornell University, ShodhGanga of Inflibnet, Domain-specific Discussion Forums, Selective Webinars, Web-scale Knowledge Discovery, etc. These constitute a select list of Open Access and specialized Digital Resources. A customized approach to the specific levels of Academic Learning including Projects, Assignments & Placements, Doctoral Research or R&D or Consultancy Programmes is consciously promoted by Library. A fairly good collection of print versions of Syllabus-oriented Textbooks and Periodicals are maintained. The infrastructure facilities include in-house Access Station to e-Resources, e-Resource Search Facility uplinked to Campus-Wide WiFi Connectivity and Remote Access from outside the Campus. KOHA, the Integrated Library Management Open Source Software, is used for house-keeping operations and creation of Holdings Databases and DSpace is used for the development of Institutional Repository. Cross-institutional collaborations to use virtual resources by tapping the potential of info managers’ networks and social media have seen a success story in the Library in the dynamics of knowledge delivery.
Sports The college has sports facilities for all students.
Cafeteria The college has a canteen inside the campus in which a variety of dishes are available at most nominal rates. A number of restaurants, Kiosks, Banks and a Post Office function within the Technopark campus. Students can avail of these facilities.
Auditorium The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Medical/Hospital The college has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students.
Wifi The college is connected to the National Knowledge Network (NKN) with high-speed connectivity of 100 Mbps. In a short period, it will be upgraded to 1 Gbps, The classrooms and library are having WiFi coverage. also having a BSNL 10 Mbps standby connectivity under NMIECT.
IT Infrastructure The College Central Computing Facility(CCF) is maintained to cater to the general computing needs of both Academic and training. The lab is equipped with 60 high-performance computers connected to LAN. Dual boot operating systems are available in the systems, which give the option of either Microsoft Windows or Ubuntu operating systems. The current range of software that is available in the lab is a mostly open source. The NKN connection provides unlimited internet usage facility at a high speed.
Transport The College-Institute conveyance is available for students from the city to the campus and back in the morning and evening. KSRTC frequently operates Volvo Bus services via Technopark.
Laboratories The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students. Geoinformatics lab is equipped with an advanced infrastructure that fosters Academics and Research. Facilities cover the entire spectrum of Geoinformatics disciplines such as GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing and image processing. Ecological Informatics draws its strength from the depths of Ecological Sciences, the width of social sciences, the power of computational sciences and versatility of Information Technology. The Data Engineering Lab facility is aimed at conducting cutting-edge research and development activities in all aspects of data management and analysis. At present, DE Lab has 4 PhD and 3 M.Phil Research Scholars working on areas such as Theoretical Machine Learning, Text Mining and Analytics, Distributed IoT and Blockchain. Data Enginee
