Boys Hostel The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Gym The college has a Gym facility for the students. Library The library has acquired a good collection of books and journals in the area of Electronics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, and related subjects like Science, Mathematics, and Management. The Library has approximately 27014 volumes of books and 60 journals. Books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal classification scheme and are cataloged according to Anglo American Cataloguing rules II, with local variation. The library provides information services such as current awareness service, selective dissemination of information service, reference service, bibliographic service, etc. An amount of Rs50 lakhs has been sanctioned for the modernization of the library under the TEQIP Project. Sports Govt. Model Engineering College has an excellent physical education department under the guidance of Mr. Johnson Phillip. The sports club of Model Engineering College is engaged in the training of the college team for various inter-collegiate events. The sports club conducts various sports and games events every year in the college.
