Boys Hostel The NIT Jalandhar hostels are residence halls and are available for the students with a reading room, washing machines, indoor games and internet facilities. In addition, it also has water coolers and water purifiers. There are 10 boys hostels.
Girls Hostel There are Three Girl’s Hostels. The facilities of reading room, indoor games, washing machines etc. are available in each hostel. Internet facility is provided in most of the hostels. Other facilities like geysers, water purifiers and water coolers are provided in all the hostels. The hostel facility is available to the regular students who are on the rolls of the institute depending upon the availability. The students who wish to stay with their parents or guardians outside the campus for short period may be allowed to do so with the permission of the competent authority.
Gym The NIT Jalandhar Gymnasium is the physical and fitness Centre available for students with some indoor sports such as table tennis and badminton and they maintain the high standards required for an academic Institution.
Library The NIT Jalandhar library is a 3 tier building present in the middle of all departments and accessible over an area of 1540 square feet. The library has more than 1.03 lakh books volumes along with CD-ROMs, video cassettes in engineering science and technology. The video library is secured with audio-visual station, TV, multimedia projector, video cassettes.
Sports NIT Jalandhar sports facilities offer recreation for their physical and emotional well-being and allows them to compete in indoor and outdoor games.
Cafeteria The NIT Jalandhar canteens act as student joints which are run mostly for students and occasional visitors and they are open at fixed timings during the week and offer a variety of both North Indian and South Indian dishes.
Auditorium Open Air Theatre is venue for many events like UTKANSH, Tech Fests, International Conference, movie shows etc.
Medical/Hospital The NIT Jalandhar dispensary acts as the main medical facility present in the institute for treatment of different diseases and providing emergency first aid for students. The dispensary is secured with a lab facility to carry out testing and in case of a medical emergency, it has an ambulance to provide 24-hour care to the nearby hospital.
Wifi Two leased lines in NIT Jalandhar internet supply the entire institute with Internet services. BSNL with 500 Mbps capacity and Reliance with 500 Mbps bandwidth are the Internet service providers of the leased lines as well.

Guest Room The NIT Jalandhar guest houses are located next to the Shopping Centre and provide 12 air-conditioned suites with internet facility, TV and amenities such as internet service which helps to provide boarding and lodging facilities for guests and visitors.
Banks Facilities NIT Jalandhar banking service has two banks available within the campus such as State Bank of Patiala and Canara Bank. Both of these bank facilities act as regular branches in the campus with function ATMs and they are used for on required banking services for students staff and others.
