Boys Hostel The campus offers separate hostel facilities for boys with Resident Tutors to look into the welfare of the students, and provide necessary help. Library Alethea, the library is a computerized information system, which has all facilities for information storage and retrieval. It follows the open access library system. It has a total area of 937sq.m. and a seating capacity of 201. The library functions from 8.00 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. on all days, except state public holidays other than Sundays. Apart from this central facility, each department has separate department libraries. Reprographic facility is available in the library premises. Sports Physical education, sports and fitness is an integral part of the Rajagirian’s total educational programme. The athletically inclined can take advantage of Basketball Courts (with floodlight facility), Cricket Ground (in association with Kerala Cricket Association),Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Throwball Court, Tennis Court and Indoor facilities (for Table Tennis).The campus has an excellent Fitness Centre with modern fitness equipment. Systematic training and coaching is offered for various games in the evenings throughout the year. The faculty of Physical Education organizes Inter-House Competitions to provide competitive experience, interactions with fellow collegians, teachers, juniors and seniors, to develop friendship, commandership and championship. Every year pioneer tournaments such as the Chavara Cup Inter-Rajagiri Basketball Tournament, the Rajagiri Trophy All Kerala Inter-Engineering Basketball Tournament, and the Rajagiri Corporate Cup Inter- Cafeteria RSET has a spacious multi cuisine cafeteria. In addition, coffee & tea counters are provided on different floors in the main building, and in K.E. block. Auditorium The college auditorium, named the CHAVARA HALL has a seating capacity of nearly 1000. It acts as the venue for the college day celebrations, Deeksharambham, Samavarthanam and Bharatham (College Arts Fest). Medical/Hospital A medical centre functions in the main academic block, with a full time nurse (8.45 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and a doctor, whose services are available from 3 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturdays. IT Infrastructure All computers on the RSET campus are networked and internet enabled through a 24/7, 150 Mbps 1:1 leased line (90 Mbps Asianet and 60 Mbps Vodafone). There is also NMEICT with a bandwidth of 10 Mbps. The leased lines are connected through a UTM. Color reprographic facilities are also available. Transport The college is providing efficient public transportation facilities for the staffs and students to the nearby places/towns.The buses start at 7.20 a.m. from the specified starting points (unless otherwise specified); on the return trips, the buses leave the campus at 4. 45 p.m. Laboratories Every department has own separate Laboratory with full of equipment. Convenience Store The college post office, officially the Rajagiri Valley Post Office (pin code 682039) has Speed Post and Electronic Fund Transfer facility. The Honesty Shop functioning on the first floor, next to the Coffee Counter, has essential stationery items, which the students may purchase by depositing the listed price in the money box. Guest Room There are guest rooms of international standards for faculty coming for short lectures/seminars/conferences etc. Banks Facilities The South Indian Bank has a branch adjacent to the campus, with a 24-hour ATM facility.
