Facilities

  • Boys Hostel
    The College has comfortable hostel facilities for over 1100 at the main and lakeside campus for men in the main campus. Exclusive accommodation for international students is provided in the Athidhi Bhavan.
  • Girls Hostel
    The College has comfortable hostel facilities for over 1100 at main and lakeside campus 750 for women in the main campus. Exclusive accommodation for international students is provided in the Athidhi Bhavan.
  • Library
    The library is a well equipped library, with collection and services attuned for management students, professionals, researchers and faculty. It is one of the best B-School library in south India. our library was able to provide necessary information provision and support not only for SMS, but also for wider sections of the management community of our state. It always renewed, restructured it self to cope with technological advancements and changing needs of our academic community. SMS library is an automated library with OPAC, digital collections and online databases. It also houses printed resources and can support conventional information seeking with card catalogues. SMS library uses and supports free and open source software.
  • Cafeteria
    The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
  • Auditorium
    The college has big auditorium with a seating capacity of 275. All major SMS functions, including student cultural activities, seminars , workshops and conferences are conducted in this main auditorium.
  • IT Infrastructure
    The Computer Centre established in 1989, is one of the seven Level III centres, spread out among the various regions of India, under the ICOSER project initiated by the Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) of the DST. High performance computing equipment has been provided with a view to promoting scientific research in this region. The Level III Centres across the country, are linked through 64 kbps data links, with connectivity to the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, which is coordinating the ICOSER project at the national level. It acts as the nerve centre for the campus wide fibre optic network, forming the central switching point in a hierarchical star structure.
  • Guest Room
    The College has paying guest accommodation in residences near the campus is also available for men and women. Many lodges do hire-out rooms to students on concessional tariff too.
  • Banks Facilities
    Institute campus has three full fledged bank branches (State Bank of India and Canara Bank) with multiple ATM facilities
