Library The Library building has a built-up area of 2400 sq. mts with a huge collection of 19,486 books and 152 annual subscription journals. It can accommodate 691 students at a time. It aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and student of the college and to serve as a resource centre for the Health Science Information. The College Library is a member of HELINET Consortium. The collection includes books (print and digital formats), Journals (print and digital formats), SC/ST book bank collection, Dissertations, HELINET consortium resources, CD-ROMS, Video Cassettes, Back volumes of Journals and WHO Publications. The annual budget of the Shri B M Patil Medical College Central Library is over Rs. 1.4 Crore.
