Boys Hostel The university has boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The university provides hostel facilities for its students. It has a total of 23 hostels with a housing space of 5000 students. The hostels have good accommodation facilities with a mess facility. The hostels also have a common room for the students, along with a dining space.

Library The University of Hyderabad facilities include a Central Library called the IGM(Indira Gandhi Memorial) library. It has a range of textbooks and journals. It also includes books in braille and reference works. The library is well equipped with e-books, digitised books, open access resources. It also has newspapers, general magazines and CDs/DVDs that concern the subjects of the students and other literature related books. It also has books for general knowledge. In this way, the IGM Library serves as a great means by helping every student gain all the knowledge that they want.
Sports The university also has an amazing infrastructure to support many indoor and outdoor sports. It is also the centre of many sports activities held in the region as well. There are facilities in the newly build Indoor gymnasium for badminton, chess, carrom, and table tennis. Modern equipment is provided for all sports. An annual inter-school sports event is held by the University. Intramural and extramural activities are also held regularly. It also has provisions for athletics.
Cafeteria To facilitate the students in every aspect, the Univerity of Hyderabad also has two shopping complex inside the campus. The shopping complexes are well equipped with salons, canteens, grocery stores, among various other things of the daily requirement. This helps the students by providing them access to things without them having to go outside the campus. The University of Hyderabad also has 2 food courts in the institute. They are situated on the north and south campus of the university. These food courts provide facilities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Medical/Hospital The university is equipped with a health centre that has basic medical facilities along with an OPD to deal with emergencies throughout the day. Other services provided for medical assistance of the students include pharmacy, ambulance, x-ray, test laboratory, etc. All students need to have Health Insurance. This is done in favor of students’ health. The university has health center with first aid facility for the students.
Wifi The University provides great networking throughout the university campus. The CNF has installed a high-speed network system for the 2000 acre campus system. It is based on Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and Wi-Fi Wireless LAN technologies. This ensures that the north and south campus of the university is fully equipped. This is done by the connectivity of over 4000 network points and more than 14 network access points throughout the campus.
IT Infrastructure The University of Hyderabad is fully equipped technically with a computer centre. They provide a great range of IT facilities and services. They provide a great networking environment for the students and allows them to learn in a good environment. Other services of the Computer Centre include internet security system, anti-virus application, web-based e-mail application, network services, Wi-Fi and ADSL Modems.
Laboratories The University of Hyderabad has a laboratory with sophisticated analytical instruments that help all the students and the scholars by providing them with the right equipment. It has instruments like the Electron Microscope, Vibrating Magnetometer, Confocal Microscope. Also, it has spectroscopy equipment (UV-VIS-IR, X-Rays) and Spin Resonance studies installed in the laboratory.
Guest Room The university also has guest house facilities which consist of three guest houses. One of them is spared exclusively for the guests of the Human Resource Development Centre. The Visiting Scholar Suite has 50 suites for the guests. Also, the general housing capacity of the other guest houses has 30 single and double rooms. The guest houses are facilitated with Wi-Fi, air conditioner and generator to ensure a nice stay for its guests. One of the guesthouses also has 50 single and double rooms.
