AIMIT is located at Kotekar, Karnataka. Mangalore Junction Railway Station is 12.6 km away and Thokkottu Bus Stand is 4.7 km away from the institute. Mangalore International Airport is 31 km away and it will take around 48 minutes to reach the St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology, Mangalore. The institute is well connected with all modes of transportation. Students can hire a cab or take a bus to reach the AIMIT.

Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 Year duration. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
Facilities
- Library: The institution library has all kinds of text and reference books. Students can avail of the facility of the digital library.
- Laboratory: AIMIT has laboratories inside the campus that facilitates the computational needs of the students. By getting practical exposure, students can have better learning.
- Food Court: This provides a wide range of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food for the students, faculty, staff and visitors of AIMIT.
- Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with modern facilities. It is used or large programmes and events. The auditorium is equipped with the latest teaching aids like LCD projector, slide projector and overhead projector. The hall is used for conducting guest lectures, symposiums and seminars.
