The department of Robotics and Automation is established to meet the growing demand for trained engineers in the field of industrial automation. This is a futuristic cross-sectional discipline that requires a sound, proportional knowledge of hardware as well as software. This unique program is tailored to train and mold quality automation engineers to meet the needs of various engineering fields
The PPT(Placement & Professional Training) Department is a recent addition to the academic spectrum of ASIET. The department mainly owes its existence to the long-felt need to provide in-house placement and professional enhancement training to the student community. The specializations and scholarly pursuits undertaken by the faculty, position the department as the fulcrum of several future initiatives and collaborative ventures. Currently the PDT Department is assigned the responsibility to manage 70 plus add-on courses that strengthen the employability of students and coordinate various placement drives. The department’s vast range of expertise provides it with overarching academic jurisdiction which in turn facilitates the management of diverse activities like making in-house publications, conducting training programmes, designing courses, organizing placement drives, and managing CUP’s examinations like BEC and OET. In addition to these responsibilities, the teaching faculty of PDT Department engages the language, communication and Life Skill classes for the BTech streams.

The Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) put together (regulations as per KEAM Prospectus).

Boys Hostel
The college provides separate hostel facilities for the First Year Students which can accommodate more than 150 students. A maximum of 3 students is accommodated in each room. There are separate reading rooms on each floor and a common room provided for watching television.

The college's centrally-located College Canteen meets the catering requirements for all the staff and students. The spacious canteen can comfortably accommodate 500 persons at a time. Transport
The college has a way vehicles are the brand wagons of ASIET and they ease the daily commuting problems of the students. The well-maintained transport system is handled promptly by expert and experienced staff members. Vehicles reach every nook and corner of the district. There are 30 buses doing services up and down. Almost 60 percent of the students utilize the Institution's transport facilities which help them to reach the campus on time.
