Acharya Narendra Dev College was established in 1991. It is a constituent college of University of Delhi and is funded by the Delhi Administration. The campus of the college spreads over an area of 8 acres of land. ANDC is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A. The college has also been ranked at 20th position in the college category according to NIRF Ranking, 2021. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of commerce and science. The courses offered by Acharya Narendra Dev College are B.Com (H), B,.Sc. (H), B.Sc. and M.Sc. The college has a total number of 76 well-qualified faculty members. The total number of students enrolled at present is 2017. Thus, the student-teacher ratio at ANDC is 26:1. The college has many national and international collaborations with organisation and academic institutions such as PhiXgen Pvt. Ltd., University of Cape Town, South Africa, Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, National Network of Mathematical and Computational Biology (NNMCB), Delhi, etc.
Ample facilities are provided by Acharya Narendra Dev College. Some of the facilities are library, laboratories, classrooms, IT infrastructure, auditorium, wi-fi, sports, cafeteria, convenience stores, medical clinic, etc. The college has a Career Counselling and Placement Cell (CCPC) to help students in the placement process. CCPC also conducts placement training like workshops, seminars, gusset lectures, industrial visits, group discussions, mock interviews, etc. Many scholarships like D.C. Arora Fellowship, Teena Gupta Memorial Scholarship, Dr. (Ms.) Usha Aggarwal Tejaswini Scholarship, Sri Sultan Chand Endowment Scholarship, Pushpa Paul Memorial Scholarship, etc are awarded to the eligible students. The college has many clubs and societies like Music Society, Eco Club, Theatre Society, Dance Society and many more.

One can travel by bair, road or rail to reach the college. The nearest railway station is New Delhi Railway Station and is located at a distance of 16.3 km.The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. The distance between the airport and the college is 16.8 km and would take around 27 minutes from the airport to reach the college. Chirag Delhi Bus Stop is the nearest bus stop. It is 5km far from ANDC and would take approximately 5 minutes to reach the college.
The college conducted a guest lecture on the occasion of the 132nd birth anniversary of Acharya Narendra Dev, a doyen of Indian socialism. Professor Talat Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir was the speaker.
Gym The college provides gym facility for both boys and girls students. The gym also provides a trainer to guide the students.
Library The library is fully air-conditioned and is fully automated through smart cards based on RFID technology. For daily administrative work, the library uses the latest ICT tools, which are constantly upgraded. Acharya Narendra Dev College library facilities include numerous textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The library also has e-resources, provided by INFLIBNET and DU Library System (DULS). The library uses the OPAC system for online access of the resources. There are two air-conditioned reading halls. The college provides a separate reading hall for faculty members and research scholars. Book bank facility is also available.
Sports Sports at Acharya Narendra Dev College is taught as a generic paper and is given a lot of impetus. Acharya Narendra Dev College sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games like chess, table tennis, basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, athletics, etc. Coaching classes by specialised instructors are provided to the students who want to take sports as a career option. ANDC also promotes sports among para-athletes.
Cafeteria The college has a hygienic cafeteria, which offers food at reasonable prices for the students and staff. The cafeteria is designed in a bamboo structure and has a spacious dining hall. For the staff members, the college provides a separate fully air-conditioned dining room. The canteen bars the use of plastic and thermocol.
Auditorium The auditorium is very spacious and is fully air-conditioned. It can accommodate a large number of audience. Acharya Narendra Dev College auditorium facilities include LCD projectors, slide sorters, smart lectern, wireless microphone, etc. The auditorium is used for organising conferences, events and seminars.
Medical/Hospital The college has a medical clinic, which provides basic first-aid facilities. The medical clinic also provides a medical consultant, which provides counselling twice a week.

Laptops are even issued to the students and teachers, whenever required.

Transport ANDC Transport facilities include a fleet of buses. The facility is available for the students and faculty members on nominal charges.
Laboratories Every department of the college has its own laboratory and is well equipped with the latest scientific instruments to meet the teaching and learning requirements. Some of the equipment are DOT-BLOT System, Paper Electrophoresis Assemblies, Conductivity meters, Microtomes, Gel Documentation System, etc.
