Akal College of Education for Women, Village: Fatehgarh Chhanna, Post Office: Dehkalan, Dhuri Road,The College is situated on the outskirts of village Fatehgarh Chhanna on the Sangrur Dhuri Road. A turn alongside the Vasant Valley Public School takes you to the campus in five minutes, it is just behind Bahadur Singh Wala Railway Station and barely six kms. from Sangrur city by two motorable roads. It has clean and healthy environment, placed as it is in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is hundred percent pollution free. The building is newly constructed and has all modern amenities. The six acre campus area has provision for play grounds for various games. The airy spacious class rooms, the well-stocked library with latest editions of books and the well-equipped, laboratories like Science, Psychology, Language and Computer. College has its own Generator set of 15 kw.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
