It is a privately owned university jointly recognised by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The campus is spread over more than 50 acres of land. It is a very well known university with state of the art facilities in the campus and quality education and placement record. Amenities like the lush green campus, health centre, Gymnasium, sports arena, hostels, laboratories and canteens in the campus make it a comfortable place for students and staff both. According to NIRF 2021 ranking, the university has been ranked 60 in the management category.
The Alliance University already has a well-established Alliance School of Business, Alliance School of Law; Alliance College of Engineering and Design are currently under the university. Further, the university is establishing many other institutes like the Alliance College of Science; Alliance College of Arts and Humanities; Alliance College of Medicine and Dentistry; Alliance School of Health Sciences; Alliance College of Education and Human Services; and Alliance College of Media and Communications. With the alliance business school ranked in top 10 BSchools by outlook in 2018 and the 3rd best BSchool under a private university in the year 2019, the university has become one of the most sought after destinations of higher education. The Alliance University is located in a lush green location of Chandapura-Anekal main boulevard. This falls in the Anekal taluk of Bangalore. Each hall of residence has a residential warden and assistants, who are supervised by a chief warden and the hostel administration to promptly address the day to day issues of the hostel residents.
