Annai Teresa College of Education is run by Annai Teresa Educational Charitable and Welfare Trust. The college provides B.Ed., (Two year) Degree course. It is situated at the border of South Tirupathi of Lord Narayana Temple, Ariyakudi, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District. It is 5 kilometers away from Karaikudi town. Ariyakudi can be reached either by minibus or train.
If travelling by train, one should get down at the Karaikudi railway station. Annai Teresa College of Education is just three kilometers from the railway station. Mini buses and autos can be used to reach our college.
It is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) SRC, Bangalore vide the order No F.SRO/NCTE/B.Ed/2006-07/4185 and is affiliated to Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District, Tamilnadu vide the order No ALU/CDE/3-AC/31-B.Ed/1007 with an annual intake of 100 students.
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
