Auxilium College of Education was founded in 2010 by the Daughters of Mary Our Help, commonly known as the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco. It is a self financed, co-educational minority institution.
The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and approved by the N.C.T.E (National Council for Teacher Education). This college was established in 2010 by Salesian sisters with a vision to become a centre of excellence to train secondary school teachers. The college completed four successful years and has made an indelible impression in the teacher education scenario.
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme
Library The institution has a well-maintained computerized library with a good collection of books, journals, encyclopedias, periodicals, etc.
Sports The College has a spacious playground is offered for the trainees to conduct the sports meet and for the other games.
Auditorium The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
IT Infrastructure The college has a well-equipped technology lab, which consists of audio-visual aids like T.V, VCR, Slide projector, OHP, computer, etc.
Laboratories The college has departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.
