BMS College of Engineering, P.O. Box No. 1908, Bull Temple Road, Bangalore - 560019, Karnataka, IndiOne of the first and leading private sector colleges in the field of engineering in India that was established by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah who was a great philanthropist and visionary in 1946 in the green city of India - Bangalore. A college that was started with only 3 undergraduate programs now after a period of 74 years of completion has an academic department in undergraduation, postgraduation, and doctorate level programmes. Today, the college has around thirteen courses to offer at the level of under graduation and sixteen courses at the level of post-graduation. In the engineering colleges ranking 2021 released by the NIRF, the institute has secured 98th rank. There has been decreased in the ranking as BMSCE was ranked 73rd in NIRF Engineering Ranking 2020. The college is accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. The college has been affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
The college has a practice of imparting education that is based on the outcome. The strength of the college is its student base which is the largest amongst all colleges in Karnataka. There are about 5000 students in the college at a time for pursuing their studies. In the 14 research centers developed by the college, there are about 350 scholars that pursue research studies pursuing their PhD. BMSCE provides not only good education but also facilitates good infrastructure and great learning facilities which eventually leads to producing students that are industry ready.

BMSCE is very well connected with the city and there are various modes of transport available to reach the college. The college is at a mere distance of 5kms from the railway station which takes around 15mins to reach the campus by way of auto-rickshaw or cab which are easily available. The college is at a distance of 40kms from the Kempegowda International Airport at Bengaluru and will take around 1-hour time from the airport to reach the college. Cabs are available at the airport to travel to the college.

Online Admission Registration for UG/PG for the AY 2020-21 (PGCET COMED-K/CET/ PMSS/MGT/ DCET/GOI/ PIO/) - Admissions to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses are open and general instructions like the documents required for admission as well the admission form along with the fees and details pertaining to hostel facilities are made available to the students.

B.E. Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning admissions are open - As per AICTE admissions to B.E. in artificial intelligence and machine learning course has been certified and the course is open. Total of 60 seats are allotted along with the PIO quota.

- Boys Hostel
The BMS Education Trust looks after the proper functioning of the hostels. It appoints wardens at all the 5 units that are created inside the campus for managing proper discipline and administration in the campus. Out of the five units, 2 are for boys and the remaining three units are for girls. A total of more than 850 students are accommodated in these units of hostels. The college also has tie-ups with 5 units outside the college campus wherein it has provisioned accommodation for students. The college also has two other buildings one of which is regarded as the main dining hall of the hostel and the other one is used as a multipurpose hall which also has the facility to accommodate around 180 students for the purpose of dining. All the units of the hostel have a wardens office along with facilities like TV lounge, spacious rooms with a solar water heater in each unit, playgrounds, volleyball court, power backup, washing machine, ro water, gymnasium, 24x7 wifi facilities, two-wheeler parking, etc. - Girls Hostel

When it comes to imparting knowledge to students the most vital role is played by the library and the central library of the BMSCE does no different with a subscription to about 175 printed journals, 7,500 e-journals, 21,000 plus e-books, 1,50,000 plus volumes with more than 47,000 titles 11 e-resources, a techfocusz digital software to access the digital repositories of departments of the college. - Sports
BMSCE has not only created recreational facilities but also the indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities for the students are available in the campus. There are facilities for cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, chess, football, squash and many other plays that are held at the campus. - Auditorium

BMS Hospital foundation stone was laid in 1991 by the son of the founding member. All facilities like 24x7 emergency facilities, dedicated ambulance, operation theatres, Intensive care units, ICCU, Inpatient services, laboratories, radiology department with the latest equipment, pharmacy, yoga, cosmetology, dentistry, etc. all other facilities along with speciality divisions are made available at the hospital at BMSCE. - Wifi
The campus has a dedicated data centre which fulfils the students and faculties needs of having WiFi at all places on the campus that includes the library, classrooms, hostels and all departments of study. - IT Infrastructure
The data centre is what the college is proud of having as it is the first data centre of a college to have its own unique static IP address along with being a member of APNIC. The intranet has the capacity to reach speeds of 10GBPS. The campus-wide networking provision provides the same speed networking at every corner of the college campus. The connection between the access and core switches is done through multimode fibre optic which is the backbone of the data centre. It has a leased line that supports 800Mbps. - Laboratories
