KeraThe C.S.I College of education, Parassala has been established in 1995 as an unaided college as per order No.12004/B3/95/ H. Edn dated 6-10-1995 Government of Kerala, and affiliated to the University of Kerala Ac B1.3775/95 dated 23.11.1995 and recognized by NCTE F/SRO/NCTE/98-99/1442 dated 19.08.1998 is a minority institution and owned by the Diocese of South Kerala,(S.I.U.C) Church of South India. The college was formally inaugurated by our former Bishop- Rt. Rev. Dr. Samuel Amirtham on 03-01-1996.

- Girls Hostel
The College has a ladies hostel that can accommodate nearly 25 inmates is also functioning on the campus. - Library
The College is having a well-established library with nearly 6000 books. We are subscribing to more than 15 journals(both National and International) and the collection of CD exceeds 250 in number. We also have the membership of N-LIST and are eligible to access more than 3100 e-journals and 75000 e-books. Library remains open from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on all working days. - Sports

The College Provides laboratory facilities for all the optional subjects and also a Psychology lab. The facilities are provided as per NCTE and University Guidelines. All our faculty members implement directly or indirectly ICT based activities in their curricular interaction. Psychology Lab – The lab is having Test materials to conduct more than 30 experiments. The test materials include the Testing of Intelligence ( both verbal and non-verbal ), Test of Personality, Memory Test, Transfer of Learning, Test of Aptitude, Attitude, Interest, Self-confidence, etc. Mathematics Lab – Mathematics is essentially a subject, where doing is more important than reading. In the Mathematics laboratory, all essential items concerning the learning activities in Mathematics are kept. It also provides facilities for laboratory work. The mathematics laboratory serves not only as a laboratory but also as a Mathematics resource room and Mathematics Museum. The college is having an active Alumni organizing several programs every year. Members give valuable information about the changes to be needed in the curriculum and in the functioning of the college from their experience. The outgone students are the major personalities to benefit from the changes and so their suggestions and queries are given high priority. Need assessment Performa is given to alumni members and to the ongoing students to express the needs in a meaningful manner. The needs are categorized along with that of the faculty members and then the academic experts help us to frame action strategies for comprehensive solution formation.
