The institute is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as well as by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. In the initial voyage, CTIPS acquired its milestone by getting the status of ISO-9001:2008 certification from United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS), UK. Over the years, with the dedication of the faculty and students, it has become not only one of the best m.pharmacy colleges in Jalandhar but in Punjab.The institute is running B. Pharmacy (4 year degree course), M. Pharmacy (2 year PG course) in three specializations i.e. Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacology.
The institute is also running B.Sc. (three year degree course) in Medical Lab Sciences and biotechnology along with M.Sc. (two year PG course) in Biotechnology. The animal house as well as the sophisticated instrumentations of the institute are in the state of art and well recognized by the scholars of the university and the professionals in the surroundings to conduct their research projects.
Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) course was introduced in 2019 and Pharm. D (Post Baccalaureate) in 2020. Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to IKG-Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences has Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (MCI Approved), Jalandhar.

Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the subjects (Mathematics, Biotechnology, biology) with at least 45% marks in above-specified subjects (40% for SC/ST) from a recognized board.

The College has a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 1500 is available for our academic-related functions. Our auditorium is very comfortable and wide aisles enable patrons to remain seated as others pass by. Seating is terraced and staggered giving clear sightlines. Acoustics are good throughout the theatre. Air conditioning helps keep theatre patrons in comfortable temperatures throughout the year. Auditorium spaces are designed to accommodate large audiences. As such, they tend to have wide spans and are multiple stories high in order to accommodate seating, sightline, and acoustical requirements. Raised stage/dais floors and special lighting equipment are often required as well. The College Group presently maintains a convoy of 64 vehicles including 50 buses, 12 cars, 1 ambulance including one security vehicle & 01 tractors for agriculture and plantations purpose on the campus.
