The Chandigarh College of Pharmacy (CCP) is part of the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) which was founded by the Sri Guru Ram Dass Educational Society (Regd.). The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI, New Delhi) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) have approved Chandigarh College of Pharmacy, which is affiliated with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. As per the official website the goal of Chandigarh College of Pharmacy is to promote excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.
Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has recognised Chandigarh College of Pharmacy as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO).
