Established on 12th July, 1990 by Chopda Education Society, CHOPDA, College of Education, Chopda is today one of the well known colleges in North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and is NAAC ACCREDITED GRADE-C College. The college is known for its excellent educational services, which always tries for the entire development of student teachers. The college has well trained, experienced and fully devoted teaching staff, which always put their best efforts for the progress of students and the college.
The college is located at 4 Hectors 34R (43,400 Sq.m.) sprawling campus in enchanting landscape. It is one kilometer away from Bus-stand.
The College is affiliated to North Maharashtra University Jalgaon and recognised by NCTE Bhopal, conducts B. Ed. Degree Course and have 50 seats sanctioned intake.
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
Girls Hostel The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Gym The College has a gymnasium well equipped with the latest instruments for our students. Physical development is an important aspect of personality development. This helps the students for physical development along with educational development.
Library The library has a massive collection of books, journals, and periodicals. There is a good collection of reference books. The library has a calm and spacious reading hall, which is open for students from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Sports The college provides all types of indoor and outdoor facilities and playgrounds for various games like - kho-kho, kabaddi, Cricket, Basketball, Volley-ball, Table Tennis, Carrom board, Chess, etc.
IT Infrastructure The college is enriched with the most sophisticated and well-equipped computer laboratory with LAN and Internet facilities. The laboratory setup also includes UPS which provides sufficient power supply backup during the unavailability of power supply, hence no computer practical schedule is disturbed. This promotes the smooth functioning of academic routine.
Laboratories The Science laboratory is well equipped, with all the necessary apparatus and equipment for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography practical. The E. T. laboratory is also well equipped with audio and visual aids like - TV, VCR, tape recorder, CD player, overhead, and slide projector which makes the learning and teaching more effective and interesting.
