The Co-operative Academy of Professional Education is promoted by the Co-operation Department of the Government of Kerala and is an autonomous society under Government of Kerala. The Courses offered are B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Alumni association of an institution plays a vital role in the welfare of society through the growth of institution. In the current scenario alumni association becomes more significant and inevitable as it supports the institution to overcome the challenges of creating and maintaining environment for a successful teaching – learning process. The alumni association of our college ‘SMRITHI’ was constituted in the month of December 2018 after the course completion of first batch of the college. The association was started with 135 members of 2014-’18 batch. An account was opened in the name of alumni at Canara bank, Aranmula branch. All pass out students automatically become the alumni member
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks

Boys Hostel
The college has four hostels for boys completely controlled by the college authorities and PTA. The college hostels have all the facilities including hygienic food at nominal rates and are situated near to the campus. A hostel committee and PTA regularly visit the hostel to monitor the activities, quality of food, and discipline in the hostel. The fees for the hostel are collected by the warden in the hostel before the 5th day of each month. 24 hr security is available in the hostel premises for the safety of inmates.

Besides library has a wide variety of periodicals to cater to the informational requirements of users. The systematically arranged collection aims to cater to the multidimensional informational requirements of users.
