The College is affiliated to Kerala University and is approved by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE).The admissions are as per the list forwarded by Commissioner For Entrance Examinations, Kerala and functioning of the college is as per the rules and regulations of the Government of Kerala and CAPE.
The Courses offered are Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering. Each Department has sufficient number of qualified faculty members and supporting staff.
The College is situated near to Punnapra in Alappuzha district of Kerala State, 5 K.M from Alappuzha town which is commonly known as East of Venice gifted with backwaters, paddyfields and scenic beauty. The campus sprawls over acres of land. The college is easily accessible by public transport as the campus is located near to Punnapra in Alappuzha district of Kerala State, 5 K.M from Alappuzha town and about 2 K.M from National Highway. The nearest railway station is Alappuzha which is only 3.5 K.M away and the nearest airport is Nedumbassery.

The Objectives of the Association
To maintain the relationship between the past and the present students of the institution.

Support financially underprivileged students by instituting scholarships and encourage meritorious students through awards and honors.
To serve as a forum striving to get a proper blend of the theoretical and practical aspects of Engineering.
To keep alumni informed of the developmental and expansion projects in the campus.
Candidates with a pass in the Plus 2 Two Examination of Kerala Higher Secondary Board or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto, securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission.

Boys Hostel
The college has To provide accommodation facilities for students, the college has a well-constructed men's hostel having a capacity of 160 students.
Girls Hostel
The college has To provide accommodation facilities for students, the college has a well-constructed ladies hostel having a capacity of 160 students.
Library
The college has a central library is an embodiment of vast knowledge. Over 10,000 books are at the access points of students. The college library includes books in all branches of engineering also posses over 1200 Malayalam books. The reference includes handbooks, manuals, encyclopedias, and dictionaries. it also comprises books that can provide authentic and reliable information. Well-known Newspapers and about 10 general magazines are also available in Library. With the motion to exposure, the dynamic developments and technologies of modern world E-journal facilities are provided in the Central library itself thus allowing students to refer to articles around the globe and impart thorough knowledge & practical application of the subjects. Recently about 2300 international E-Journals are subscribed. Purchases of more national and international journals are in progress.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
IT Infrastructure
The college is equipped with a full fetched centralized Computing facility. Recently the Computer center has a potential of 70 systems with Pentium IV processors and modern LCD monitors and about half of the system is connected by LAN. Presently it avails 2 Mbps broadband internet connectivity. The users also have a choice of operating systems like Ubuntu Linux, Windows XP, and Windows 7.
Transport
The college is easily accessible by public transport as the campus is located near Punnapra in Alappuzha district of Kerala State, 5 K.M from Alappuzha town, and about 2 K.M from National Highway. Eight college buses are available to facilitate the travel of students Karunagappally, Vytila, Changanassery, Cherthala, Muhammad, Thiruvalla, and Mavelikkara The College is very near to Alappuzha railway station.

The college provides Laboratories facilities for the students. The building also has separate sections for each department of study there are also separate blocks for laboratories.
