Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, IV Floor, Vishwakarma Bhavan, SaheIn 1993 the Department was brought into existence by amendment to IIT (D) statutes. Clearly, the Department responds to a felt need of the Indian Industry and derives satisfaction from its heavy field orientation in all its curriculum activity. In response to the feedback from the students, alumni and industry, the Department of Management Studies launched MBA programmes in 1997. The department currently runs a two year full time MBA programme (General and with focus on Telecommunication Systems Management) and a three year part time MBA programme (with focus on Technology Management). MBA program in IIT Delhi is designed keeping in mind the changes in business environment and the need of the industry. Our academic program is comparable to the best that are available in the world class business schools for creating managers to face the new challenges of the ever changing market environment. The entire course aims at creating holistic managers trained by a very eminent faculty, which is also supported by the experienced professionals as external faculty from India and abroad. The students are admitted through a rigorous screening process that includes CAT score, group discussion and interview. IITD MBAs are known to do well.

DMS IIT Delhi is located at IV Floor, Vishwakarma Bhavan, Shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, Delhi. RK Puram Metro Station is the nearest metro station to the institute. Delhi Safdarganj Railway Station is 6.5 km away and it will take around 15 minutes to reach the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. The institute is around 14.4 km away and students can reach the DMS IIT Delhi in 24 minutes from the airport. Vasant Vihar Bus Depot is the nearest bus stand to the institute. Students can take a bus or a cab to reach the institute.

- Boys Hostel
DMS IIT Delhi has eleven boys hostels. Each hostel has a mess, common room, reading room, etc. Other recreational facilities such as gym, sports, etc are also available for the students. - Girls Hostel
The institute has two hostels for girls. The warden in charge is available at each hostel to take care of the students. Mess is also available to provide food to the students. Students can also enjoy their free time with recreational facilities such as sports, gym, reading room, etc. - Gym
Gymnasium hall is available for the students with all the necessary machines such as treadmill, cross trainer, dumbbells, cycle, yoga mat, etc are available. Students can make use of these machines to stay fit and healthy. - Library
The institute has a central library that has a collection of books working papers, annual reports, audiovisual resources and journals on engineering, science and humanities. Students also have access to e-resources such as INDEST, EBSCO, ACM Digital Library, Capitaline, Sage Management Journals, ISI Emerging Markets, Euromonitor(GMID), Emerald, IEEE, Springer Link and ABI/Inform. - Sports
Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities such as badminton, basketball, cricket, football, gliding, gymnastics, hiking and mountaineering, hockey, judo, kabaddi, squash, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, yoga, etc are available for the students. Students are encouraged to participate in these sports competitions. Inter-hostel tournaments are also organised for the students. - Cafeteria
DMS IIT Delhi has two canteens. One is located in front of the hostel which is open from evening to midnight and the other is located near the library which opens during the working hours of the institute. Coffee and cold drink machines are also available at the canteen. - Auditorium
DMS IIT Delhi has a large auditorium that is used by the students to organise guest lectures, seminars, events or annual functions, etc. - Medical/Hospital
Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has a hospital inside the campus. OPD treatment is available for the students. Pathology lab is also available for blood, urine, stool examination and biochemical tests. ECG and separate X-ray machines are also available. A small ICU with a bed is also provided by the institute for any emergency. - Wifi

DMS IIT Delhi has a well-equipped IT infrastructure such as Wi-Fi-enabled lecture theatres with LCD projectors, air-conditioned laboratories, etc. Internet facility is also provided to the students and staff. - Laboratories
The institute has various laboratories for each department so that students can have practical exposure. Laboratories such as Research Lab, Simulation Lab, Computational Lab, Behavioral Lab, Strategy and Competitiveness Lab, etc are available for the students. - Swimming Pool
Swimming pool is also available for the students. Interested students can also learn to swim during their free time.
