Daulat Ram College, 4, Patel Marg, Maurice Nagar, Delhi, India - 110007Daulat Ram College is a premier educational institution in Delhi founded by an educationist late Shri Daulat Ram Gupta in 1960. It is a prestigious women’s college engaged in imparting liberal education to women. The college, a large constituent college of the University of Delhi, originally started as “Pramila College” at 22, Tilak Marg with thirteen members of teaching and two non-teaching staff with about 350 students. In 1964, the college shifted to its present premises in North Delhi University campus and was renamed as Daulat Ram College. The institution has since grown into a full-fledged extended college of University of Delhi. The college has acquired a strong identity and has evolved into a prestigious women’s college with its own distinct culture and traditions. It imparts education towards degrees at the bachelor’s level in arts, commerce and science and Masters level in arts.
The courses in science were introduced in 1968 which led to the construction of the science block and well-equipped science laboratories. The commerce and M.A. courses in many subjects, as well as new courses in B.A. (H) and B.A. (Pass) were added subsequently. Further expansion of the college took place with the introduction of B.Sc. (H) in Biochemistry, Chemistry andMathematics, addition of Nutrition and health Education (NHE) and Office Management and secretarial practice (OMSP) and subjects in B.A. (Pass).

Daulat Ram College is situated in Patel Marg, Maurice Nagar, Delhi. The nearest metro station to the college is Vishwavidyalaya, at an approximate distance of 1 Km. Named after the college, Daulat Ram College has its bus stop. One can easily use local transportation to commute to and from the campus. Indira Gandhi International Airport is approximately 25 km away from it, while New Delhi Railway Station is around 7.5 km from Daulat Ram College.

Daulat Ram College Hostel established in 1974, is the accommodation facility exclusively meant for undergraduate students of the College. The hostel is equipped with various modern facilities and amenities, viz., air-conditioned rooms, laundry, free Wi-fi, computer room, medical room etc. to ensure a comfortable and happy stay for the resident students. - Library
Daulat Ram College library with a reading room facility provides over 1,15,000 books and journals to read. It is fully air-conditioned and computerised. The Braille Section is equipped with talking digital player software, MP3 player and radio cum recorder for differently-abled students. - Sports

The College canteen offers a varied menu at subsidized rates. The College Canteen provides healthy and nutritious food for students. The College has well equipped and well managed laboratories for all the Science Courses offered in Bio-Chemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Physics and Zoology. The Departments of Nutrition & Health Education, Maths and Psychology also have separate well equipped labs. The College has well equipped Computer Labs with Pentium machines with the latest configuration. The Labs have connectivity with the Delhi University intranet with access to the internet. - Banks Facilities
The College has banking facilities on its premises. The University Branch of Indian Overseas Bank operates in the College.
