Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture For Women, BNCA Campus, Karve Nagar, Pune-411052, MahaMKSSS’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture for Women, was established in 1994 with the visionary leadership of Mr. Avinash Wardekar and Principal Dr Anurag Kashyap. Late Mr. Mahendrabhai Nanavati, who was closely associated with Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha( MKSSS)- Pune, offered Rs.90 lakhs as generous hand extendtion towards Girls Education as MKSSS was founded in 1896, with the responsive mission of uplifting the social, educational, financial and spiritual conditions of women and widows, making them confident and self-reliant.
Dr Bhanuben nanavati College of Architecture , popularly known as BNCA offers Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch), Master of Architecture (M Arch) and Doctorate programs (PhD) under Savitribai Phule Pune University with adedicated Research Center. The institute was established with a futuristic approach and idealism towards architectural education with a quality in imparting education and empowering girls with newest skill set to make their mark on the globe.
Endowed with an excellent infrastructure, scholarly faculty , great legacy of empowering women through education since last 125 years, we @ BNCA -, are committed to empowerment of girls in the challenging field of Architecture, and its facets. We keep pace with the latest technological development like AR VR and MR in Architecture, 3D printing, latest design softwares as Rhino, Parametric Design tools like Grasshopper, Design Builder etc.

- BNCA collaborated with PMC and many NGO’s to draft a comprehensive outline of the issues and concerns underlying the controversial Paud-Road Balbharati Proposed Road Project in Pune.
- BNCA collaborated with SPA, Delhi for preparing an ‘Environmental Improvement Plan’ for River Yamuna which was later presented to the Delhi Development Authority -DDA.
- Initiatives were also taken to ‘Redesign and Retrofit’ two major IT complexes in Pune namely International Convention Centre -ICC and Persistent for energy reduction in their buildings.
- ‘Moving towards Green Design ’09 was a national seminar hosted by BNCA to introduce to the participants from the construction sector various Green Building Concepts. The conference was organized in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation – PMC, Architects Engineers Surveyors Association – AESA, Pune along with Synefra.
Min. 50% marks in 10+2 or diploma (10+3) with Mathematics.

- Girls Hostel
The college hostels are supervised by Samantha are for college students provide a right blend of academic pursuit and memorable hostel life. About 1200 students are accommodated in various campus hostels. Our Samantha has 4 hostels with a total of 270 rooms. There are 3 hostels on triple sharing basis and 1 hostel with twin sharing basis. Spacious rooms with excellent facilities for the day to day needs like washing machine areas, toilets, storage etc. in addition to a well-equipped gymnasium, three different dining halls and solar water heating system, IV. room and parlor are some of the features of our well-designed hostel buildings, one of which is reserved for foreign students and NRI. - Gym

The college library is with over 8500 books including textbooks, reference books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, codebooks, and data sources books. BNCA Library also has bound volumes, thesis, research report, periodicals; and also has more than 1000 audiovisual materials such as CD, DVD, etc. More than 45 national and international journals, famous books, past students work in digital as well as the printed format is available. It has internet facility and a large collection of audio and video facilities. A comprehensive, bar-coded, computerized library and reading hall equipped with internet connection, email facility, audio video CD and DVD, national and international journals, books, past students work in digital format and photocopying facilities are also available. - Sports

The college has an Auditorium with all modern facilities in the campus. The juries and seminars are conducted in Auditorium hall with ultramodern LCD projector, computer, and audio and video facilities, the auditorium hall has a capacity of 280. - Medical/Hospital

The college has high-tech computer graphics studios with more than 360 advanced computers with LAN and internet services through wireless connectivity, and LCD projection systems, hardware and software, digital cameras, printers, scanners, plotters, photocopying machine and, video cameras etc. all are the backbone of our infrastructure. Advance graphics lab is equipped with 120 computers with advanced configurations, a central control room, audio-visual projection facilities and a central data archiving centre. As a part of BNCA is the pursuit to be technologically in synch with the times, the following hardware and systems were installed in the college: IBM E-server,Advanced Networking Equipment from Cisco, HP Graphics workstation, Cyberoam firewall security system, NAS Network Attached Storage data backup system of 2TB capacity. - Laboratorie
