The FBOAES is an initiative of the Federal Bank Officers` Association (FBOA), the sole representative body of the entire officers of the Federal Bank.
Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT) has a unique position in the Professional Education Sector in South India. With the motto "Focus on Excellence", FISAT has been designed and developed to become a `Centre of Excellence` in professional education. Established in the year 2002, the college has carved a niche for itself in education world, eloquently demonstrated by the flying colors attained by its students in academics, placements as well as extra curricular and co curricular activities. FISAT has embarked on an ambitious plan to enhance the quality and value of education and develop high quality individuals. The institution is accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. Five B.Tech branches are accredited by NBA. The institution also received the coveted ISO 9001:2015 certification.
FISAT is set up at Mookannoor, near Angamaly in Ernakulam District, Kerala, the birth place of the founder of The Federal Bank Ltd, Late K P Hormis. To honour the revered memory of the great visionary, the campus of FISAT is christened `Hormis Nagar`.

The college has a fully automated modern Library & Information Centre (LIC) is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource center catering to the ever-growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, and researchers. A balanced program on the development of the collection of hard copy, audio/video, CD-ROM, and other electronic forms of documents is being followed. The LIC has one of the finest collections of the latest engineering and management publications. The College has a Central Library and separate reference libraries for MBA and MCA. The Central library is operating in a three-storeyed building where separate reference and stack rooms are provided. The Libraries are fully automated with more than 70,000 volumes of textbooks and reference books in over 16000 titles. 265 technical print journals and magazines including 65 IEEE publications and more than 5000 e-journals are subscribed in the library. The college has added state-of-the-art Sun Blade TM servers to our Campus Infrastructure. The Sun blade chassis 6000 consists of 4 number X6250 blade servers with a total capacity of 10 blades. Each blade consists of Two Quad-Core Intel (R) Xeon(R) L5430 Processor, (2x6MB L2, 2.66 GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 50W) with 4 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM. Three of the blades run on Debian 5.0 GNU/Linux and one blade on Windows Server 2003 (64 bit). All the campus automation projects, staff & students` logins, campus intranet, etc will be hosted on these servers. CSE departmentCSE department has well-equipped computer laboratories with more than 800 systems and a High-Performance Computing Centre for research and project activities. CSI student branch has consecutively won the best student branch award for the last three years.
