Fergusson College, FC Road, Pune 411004, Maharashtra, India.Established in 1885, Fergusson College, Pune was founded by Vishnushastri Chiplunkar, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Mahadev Ballal Namjoshi and Vaman Shivram Apte. Fergusson College is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune formerly known as the University of Pune. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of ‘A’. The parent organisation of Fergusson College is the Deccan Education Society (DES). Fergusson College’s vision is to provide affordable quality education while the mission of the college is to strive for excellence keeping in mind Fergusson College motto “Knowledge is Power”. As per the NIRF ranking for the year 2021, the institute has been ranked 96th in the college category.
Fergusson College is spread over 64 acres of land offering various infrastructural facilities to its students. The college has collaborated with various international universities such as Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg Campus, USA, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland (JU), etc. Fergusson College offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The College is located in the Deccan Gymkhana area, which is in the heart of Pune City. The college is well connected by public transport. The nearest airport is Lohegaon, Pune at a distance of 15 km that will take around 20-25 minutes to reach Fergusson College. Pune Railway Station is the nearest railway station at a distance of 5 km. It will take approximately 7-10 minutes to reach Fergusson College. Students can take a bus from the Swargate Bus stand that is only 5 minutes away from the college.

- Applicants who have appeared for Higher Secondary Examinations in Science/ Arts/ Commerce are eligible for admissions to various undergraduate courses.
- For admission to MA and M.Sc courses, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned disciplines are eligible to apply.
- Admission to all the UG courses will be merit-based as per the rules of the university.

- Boys Hostel
Hostel accommodation facility is available at Fergusson College. The college has a separate hostel for boys that has all the necessary facilities such as TV rooms, Wifi, hot water etc. - Girls Hostel
The college offers hostel facilities to its students. There is a separate hostel for girls that cater to the accommodation needs of the students. - Gym

Bai Jerbai Wadai Library consists of two floors, the first one being a reading hall that can accommodate around 400 students at a time. The main library is on the ground floor that has a vast collection of books approximately 3,00,000 books and various research journals. Ferguson College has three canteen measuring 120 sq. mt, 180 sq. mt and 760 sq. mt. respectively. Each canteen offers an array of food items to students, staff and faculty members. - Auditorium
