The College of Engineering Alumni Association, Kannur (CEAAK) is operating in the campus. It’s primary objective is to foster and develop fraternity, unity among all teaching staff, staff, retired/ former teachers and alumni of this institution. It has various chapters operating from India and abroad. In addition to the continuous interaction through the internet, the members meet every year in the campus to interact, discuss and evolve future programmes.
The prioritised list of the projects funded by the alumni association
1) A grand Silver Jubilee Gate to face lift the campus Near Mankadavu bus stop.
2)Eco-friendly Pathway from silver jubilee gate to the front end of main building.

4)Legacy Spots on either side of pathway ( One each for every Batch/class passed out), consisting of statues of technological/historical concepts (to be contributed by individual classes of Alumni).

Boys Hostel
The college has two hostel for boys, each with an intake of about 150 inmates. The college bus is available for hostel inmates. The hostel has a reputation of providing one of the best mess in Kerala, with minimum expenses. The hostel provides a homely atmosphere ideal for studies and recreation. Both the hostels also provide sports facilities and health care viz basketball courts, exercise equipment, volleyball courts etc. Facilities for entertainment are also provided with a stocked literature and technical library. Admission to the hostels is confined to the students of Government College of Engineering, Kannur. Students are admitted to the hostel according to the rules framed by the college council. The mess committee is selected from the inmates from time to time and is in full charge of running the mess.

Library
The description of the college remains incomplete without a mention of the Central Technical Library, the main information bank for the students and the faculty. The library has a main lending section consisting of over 23000 books and a reference section of another 2000 books covering, beside the core branch subjects, topics on management, computer, higher education and industry. GLIMPSES OF GALLERY It subscribes to a range of journals and periodicals of national as well as international repute. There is also an audio-visual section in the library, which maintains videocassettes and CD-ROMS on an array of engineering topics and lectures by eminent personalities. In addition, another branch of the library stocks the project and seminar reports of students. Provision for a separate section devoted to arts and literature is also available. Non technical section includes a literature section consisting of Malayalam and English works and a wide range of encyclopedias , year books , dictionaries and books providing skills on management, personality development etc. "Besides the central library, each departments have their own 'Departmental Libraries'." Department of electrical and electronics takes the centre stage in this section by bringing up a library of IEEE,which helps us join with our counter parts around the globe. We are fortunate enough to have subscription of 30 journals of IEEE including spectrum etc.Electronics association also supports a technical library consisting journals and texts on electronics.
Sports
Gcek believes in poised personalities and that is why we have been provided with best sports facilities . This sector includes facilities and play grounds for sport events viz cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton , table tennis and also indoor games like caroms and chess. Cafeteria
The college canteen is run on a co-operative basis from 1995 onwards, with the active involvement of students and staff. Sri. Y.V.Sukumaran, Selection Grade Lecturer is the convener of the committee.
Auditorium
College has 2 open air auditoriums with a seating capacity of about 1000-1500. We also have a seminar hall in the main block with public addressing system , projectors and other facilities. Main blocks also has a separate conference hall aiming the administrative purposes. Departmental blocks have their own seminar halls .All seminar halls are equipped with excellent furniture and equipments like LCD & OHP projectors
