Established in the year 2004 by the Padmashree awardee, Dr. Bala V Balachandran, Professor Emeritus at Kellogg School of Management, Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai is a private self-financing institute. Great Lakes Chennai has received the AMBA, UK accreditation and it has also been accredited by the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
