Dr.S.Brilly Sangeetha is the Principal. She leads a team of highly qualified and dedicated HODs and faculty members.
IES is proud of having an overall strength of around 2000 students, a fleet of 50 buses and separate hostels for boys and girls with modern amenities. The College is governed by Board of Directors who brings to the table more than 40 years of experience in running educational institutions in International arena.
It is a hi-tech technical training institution, under self-financing scheme, run by the Ideal Educational Society and managed by the various committees of IES. It provides excellent facilities that go beyond the demands of these apex bodies. It is located in a lush green picturesque land in Chittilappilly, Thrissur, Kerala. It offers under graduate and post graduate Engineering courses.

- Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics put together are eligible for admission under the Management quota.
- Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics put together are eligible for admission to B.Tech under Govt. quota.
