Ilahia College of Engineering and Technology (ICET), Mulavoor P.O., Muvattupuzha is a co-educational minority institution approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University (KTU). The college is established in the year 2002. Within 18 years since its inception ICET has made many creditable achievements. 16 batches of engineering students have passed out from the college with academic brilliance and all-round excellence and occupy positions in various corporates and institutions. Some of our alumni have also proved themselves as excellent entrepreneurs. As part of its social commitment, the college provides free education and Scholarship from various agencies.

The College has various national and international collaborations.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) was founded in the year 1880 by a small group of leading industrialists in America. Now, it has grown up to be a very large professional body with more than 140,000 members in 151 countries worldwide. More than 30,000 of these members are students. It is a non-profit membership professional organization. Though it started off as a purely mechanical engineering professionals group, these days, it comprises of a wide spectrum of professionals from various positions and areas in the industry.
ICET Alumni Association, i-CETAA was started in the year 2009. i-CETAA conducts general body meeting every year in the month of February. The association conducts various Technical, Charity and Placement activities. As a commitment to the society, i-CETAA sets apart a part of its fund to support the poor and underprivileged students who studying in ICET, every year.
- The committee has to organize various events such as Annual Alumni Meet to keep the alumni in constant touch with the institute and also help them in networking amongst themselves.
- The committee should also tracks and highlights the achievements and successes of alumni so as to provide impact us to the institute and its students.
- Alumni Committee has to publish an annua1 newsletter which contains articles, interviews, achievements of alumni etc.
- Moreover, the committee acts as facilitator in maintaining an up-to-date data base of alumni members and strive for effective participation of all alumni members in the betterment and prosperity of the institution.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Boys Hostel
The College aims at training professionals of a high standard with moral caliber. The rules and regulations are framed so as to train them for reaching the goals for which the institution was started. It aims at ensuring harmonious, friendly living among students of various districts inculcating self-discipline. The hostels should serve as a training ground for a responsible, successful and useful life through the development of the body, mind and soul. Each Hostel Block is being managed by a Warden (Welfare & Discipline), who are drawn from the teaching faculty of the College. Each student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair in their respective rooms. Each room is provided with a ceiling fan. Each hostel has a separate Television room with cable connection. Affectionate discipline, tasty food at moderate rates and neat rooms with modern sanitation are the hallmarks of the ISSAT hostels. Hostels follow a dividing system in running the hostel mess. Students Mess committee would decide the menu.

Library
Since the inception of the college library, the library is equipped with collection on engineering literature .the library is located on the second floor of the main block and having the 5000 sq. feet Various sections including circulation, reference, periodicals, photocopying, computer workstations with internet access are functioning here to meet the varying demands of the users. The library is open to all academic users. We have a collection of more than 7000 books 23journals and 5 periodicals throughout the different sections of the library including Circulation, Reference and periodical sections. Back volumes of journals are also included in college collection there are more than 500 library users including the staff and students. Also, a library can accommodate more than 200 readers at a time and we have Fully automated and the most modernized library includes a Digital Library section and Internet facility. Digital library In the digital library, we have more than 10 computers all connected to the Internet with freely accessible to the best E-journals in the field of Engineering. Also, we can access Indian National Digital Library in Engineering and Science and Technology (INDEST) AICTE consortium which is an initiative of Dept. of Secondary Education and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Govt. of India. The library has membership in Delhi Library Network (DELNET) which provides access to Union Catalogue of Books & Journals, Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services etc. Also, DELNET provides Online Union Catalogue of books available in its member libraries. The information can be retrieved by author, title, subject, conference, series, etc.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
Cafeteria
The campus has a canteen near to the Main block, frequented more perhaps by hostelites looking for a change from hostel grub than the occasional visitor. The Canteen is open from 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. on all working days including Saturdays. A wide variety of Homely foods are available. During lunchtime Meals are available at very nominal rates. Two coffee shops are also there within the block for refreshment.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Medical/Hospital
An agreement with Charis Hospital, Sabine Hospital and Nirmala Hospital for providing medical assistance to staff and students. First Aid and Medical facilities are provided in the College as well as hostels.
IT Infrastructure
The state-of-the-art Computer Centre at The college has high-speed internet access and is open to the staff and students on all days except Sundays and public holidays.
