Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, is located in one of the hubs of South New Delhi. There are campuses of JNU Delhi, as one of the old campuses and the other one is the new campus. The old campus is near the Hauz Khas, standing close to the IIT Delhi campus. The old campus is located opposite Delhi's Ber Sarai market. The main centre of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi is located near Kishangarh village. It is 3.8 km from the old campus. If one takes the south road from the old campus they can reach the main centre of the university easily. The main centre can also be reached from the other side bordering Vasant Kunj.

Students who have acquired a minimum 60% aggregate in their 10+2 in similar disciplines like arts for BA , science for B. Tech are eligible for admission in undergraduate courses with qualifying scores in entrance exams such as JEE , CAT , or JNUEE , etc. For postgraduate courses, students should have a 10+2 and bachelor’s degree having minimum 50% from recognized universities and need qualifying scores in JNUEE. However, for Ph. D. courses, students need to hold a master’s degree

Facilities
- Boys Hostel
These are spacious, well-furnished hostels. Apart from hygienic foods, hostels provide recreational facilities includes TVs, indoor games, health club, and PCOs etc. Each hostel has its live-in wardens, a member of faculty who administers the hostels. In view of the limited Hostel Accommodation, the candidates should note that the grant of admission to a programme of study in the University would not ensure allotment of Hostel Accommodation and that the Accommodation will be offered to the eligible applicants subject to availability. - Gym
Students can take care of their fitness by making use of the college gymnasium, which is well equipped with training instruments. - Library
The central library of JNU is called Dr B. R. Ambedkar library of which the reading hall is furnished with air conditioner and is open to students and staff for 24*7. It provides high-speed wi-fi services and is stocked with over one lakh unique collection of e-books and more than 50,000 e-journals that are accessible through 37 online databases. - Sports
The JNU campus has badminton, basketball and tennis courts, cricket and football grounds. It also has an athletic track, further promoting sports like taekwondo, weight-lifting, mountaineering & trekking. - Cafeteria

The university has an auditorium facility for events and seminar. - Medical/Hospital
The University Health Centre started working as a medical care unit in 1973 for students. Soon, the facility for consultation and lab investigation was extended to people who are residing in the campus. The Health Centre right from its inception has been to provide comprehensive health care i.e. preventive, curative and promotive services under one roof to students only. However, for curative purpose of all University employees there is also CGHS dispensary. - Wifi
The college has high-speed wi-fi in labs, library, hostel, guest house and even in auditoriums and seminar halls. - IT Infrastructure
The Unversity has set up facilities for in-house use of computers, E.mail and internet services for the students, project staffs and the faculty. This unit provides a variety of services to the students in the literature search, computation and graphics. - Laboratories
There are many laboratories dedicated to various disciplines of study like a computer, electronics, mechanical, biology, physics, etc. - Convenience Store
There are a few convenience stores on campus that provide basic stationary facilities to students. - Guest Room
JNU also has in total 3 guest houses namely Aravali Guest House and Aravali International Guest House and Gomti Guest House all of which are dedicated to accommodating official guests of JNU, workshops, seminars and many more.
