Nagpur) was established on 27th July 1959 and managed by Chanda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (CSPM) which was established in 1953. This college is also known as Janata College of Education Place of Higher Learning and Research, Chandrapur. It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress. The college is among the well-known B. Ed colleges in the state. The college is affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) in October 1972 under Act, 1956. It is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal to offer B.Ed., M.Ed & D.Ed. courses and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade (in 2nd Cycle) on 25th October 2013. The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education to the Trible society to make a future teacher. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the society so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves. It is a co-educational, grant-in-aid private institute, providing a regular course in which is located in the urban part of Nagpur played a pioneering role in the field of higher education. the campus is located in another city also as a different name of institutions. The college offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) courses for those who have completed their graduation with minimum aggregate of 50% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
