The public institute has been affiliated to University of Delhi. JMC has been accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Furthermore, the college got 41st position in NIRF college rankings of 2021. The campus of JMC covers an area of 16 acres. The vision of the college is to develop empowered women with compassion and compassion.
The college offers 16 courses undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in commerce, language, psychology branches. Jesus and Mary College give admission in UG on the basis of the merit of the last qualifying examination. For postgraduate courses, the institute follows Delhi University admission policy. 50% of Seats in PG programmes are filled through the DUET entrance exam and the remaining 50% are filled by merit. Merit based seats are only reserved for candidates with undergraduate degree from University of Delhi and its affiliated colleges.
JMC campus has facilities like wifi, library, amphitheatre etc. The college has various societies for extracurricular activities. Every year numerous cultural events are conducted by students. The institute also has a football team, hockey team etc. Various JMC students have participated in national and international level competitions. Jesus and Mary College have various scholarships for students who have prolific records in academics and sports. Financial assistance is also provided to the needy students.

Fully air conditioned library at Jesus and Mary College has a seating capacity of 220 students. The library has more than 50,000 books, 97,000 e-books, 5000 e-journals and many more study materials for the students. - Sports
Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available at the campus. JMC has one grassy field, volleyball court, 2 basketball courts, 3 tennis courts and 1 netball court.
