K.L.E. Society’s College of Pharmacy was established in 1976 at Rajajinagar Bengaluru, with the aim of providing quality education in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The courses started with, Diploma in Pharmacy followed by B. Pharm (1992), M. Pharm (2003), Ph. D Programmes (2005), and eventually Pharm. D (2014).
The college has been made a constituent of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) Belagavi from the academic year 2009-2010. The College of Pharmacy is run in a spacious well-equipped building of its own with hostel, library and sports facilities. The curriculum is approved by, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the UG programme is accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation), New Delhi and Re-Accredited by NAAC “A” grade up to January 2021. The University ranks 91 in the Indian ranking 2021 with KLE Bengaluru and KLE Hubbali placed in rank-band: 76-100 and KLE Belgavi placed in 40 in NIRF ranking list 2021.
