Kirori Mal College (KMC), Delhi was established in 1951 as Nirmala College by the American Jesuits. In 1954, the name was changed to Kirori Mal College and is affiliated with the Delhi University. The NIRF 2020 ranking of KMC stands at 19 and the NIRF 2021 ranking of KMC stands at 17 under the college category. The college is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as an ‘A plus’ grade college with a CGPA of 3.54. KMC offers undergraduate programmes in chemistry, physical sciences, physics, commerce, mathematics, economics, political science, English, geography, Hindi, history, botany, zoology and life science. The B.A. programmes courses are applied for physical analytical chemistry, physical science sciences with computer science, Sanskrit, Urdu, statistics, Bengali and history, physical science with chemistry, Bengali and political science, economics and political science. The co-ed college campus is spread across 15 acres in the north campus of Delhi. Apart from extracurricular activities, the college has a facility for indoor and outdoor sports. Kirori Mal College campus has a football ground, cricket pitches, basketball court and volleyball courts among many other facilities. In terms of indoor sports, the college has table tennis, chess etc. The different societies and clubs give students exposure and opportunity in varied fields like theatre, fashion, dance, music, debate and many more areas of interest.
Kirori Mal College is located at the University of Delhi, University Enclave, Delhi, 110007 and the nearest metro station is Vishwavidyala Metro Station with a distance of 2.3 km. Kishanganj Railway Station is the nearest railway station from the KMC and is 4.8 km away. By hiring a cab from the railway station, the students can reach the college in 20 mins. The nearest bus stop is Kirori Mal College Bus Stop, which is within 5 minutes of walking distance. The nearest airport to KM College is Indira Gandhi International with a distance of 19.4 km. Students can hire a cab or board a metro from the airport and can reach the KMC in 50 mins and 75 mins respectively.
Boys Hostel The hostel is an integral part of the college family. Its 89 rooms house about I70 students both from India and abroad. It has an intercom facility. The hostel adds a dimension of vigor and commitment to the academic and extracurricular ambience of the institution. Students desirous of residing at the College hostel should apply on the prescribed form available in the Hostel Office. Only those students whose parents do not reside in Delhi are eligible to apply. Hostel seats are allocated to various classes/courses, and admission is made on the basis of merit. Details regarding hostel rules and regulations and mode of payment of fees will be available at the college hostel office between 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. on all working days.
Gym The college has a well -equipped, state of the art. Supervised gym facility for staff and students. It is equipped with treadmills, exercise benches, and other weight training apparatus.
Library The N.S. Pradhan Memorial Library is one of the most extensive libraries that Delhi University has to offer. It caters not only to the college’s requirements but also stocks leisure books and books of general awareness especially in the industrial sector. It is fully computerised, houses about 1.5 lakh books and has the capacity to accommodate about 350 students.

Cafeteria The College has a "spacious" canteen. it can accommodate up to 200 users at a time. It aims to provide quality food and beverages at competitive prices.
Auditorium The college auditorium has a history of its own. The auditorium was established as the part of the main building in 1954. It has provided “a launching pad for†eminent names in theatre and cinema such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, Ravi Baswani, etc. New names are added to the list every passing year.
Medical/Hospital Students are advised to enroll themselves with the W.U.S. Health Center at the university. The Medical ofiicer of the College is available for advice and consultation in cases which require immediate and urgent attention.
IT Infrastructure Central Computer Lab - The computer center is a fully air-conditioned facility. It enables students to stay abreast of changing trends in today’s industrial structure. Students make full use of this facility to hone their skills at handling computers.
Banks Facilities The college has a bank and two ATMs in the premises. The Oriental Bank of Commerce runs an extension counter at Kirori Mal College with an embedded ATM. Punjab National Bank also has an ATM at the college. The banking facilities are accessible to the college staff and students.
