“Kamarajar College of Education” was established by the “Kamarajar Educational Charitable Trust” has started on 1998. This College was started with the noble aim of imparting Quality Teacher Education (B.Ed.,) to the rural students who are socially and economically backward in this district.
It is the benevolent management of “Kamarajar Educational Charitable Trust” which takes utmost care in generating Value based Quality Teachers to the society under the dynamic leadership of Thiru. R. NALLATHAMBI, M.A., Chairman of this trust. college is approved by NCTE, Bangalore and affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. It offers a one year B.Ed., degree course from the year 2007 and has successfully embarked on its journey of 9th year in field of Teacher Education in 2015 – 2016.
The college is located in a calm village atmosphere spreading over in an exhaustive area of 25 acres. The college is situated 7km away from Namakkal Bus Stand on the North in NH-7 Namakkal - Salem Bye-pass road. Since inception, the college of teacher education has established its name by producing excellent results in the University Examination. To feel proud the College secured the First Rank in Namakkal District for the past three years. The College also takes interest in developing the students to get placement opportunities by conducting Interview. The students of Kamarajar College of Education exhibit all citizenship qualities including passion for the teaching profession, humanity, Patriotism, besides proving their pedagogical competence.
The college has dedicated team of teachers and well stacked library, Educational Technology lab, communication lab, computer lab and psychology lab for the upliftement of the students. Transport facility is provided from all the areas. Canteen facility is provided hygienic food to the students.

The candidates who have undergone 10+2+3(15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed the X and XII examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education/Examination and UG Degree examination of the UGC approved universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary / Higher Secondary Education level.

Gym The college has a Multi Gymnasium that is made available to the students so as to enable them to have a sound physique.
Library The college has a well-equipped library with books in all fields. They encourage students to read books and help them improve their writing English. the number of journals is subscribed to for the benefit of the students and staff. Students are allowed to borrow books from the library for their reference. The number of books that they can borrow will be intimated during the commencement of the Academic year. The period of retention will be 10 days. Normally renewal for a book will be allowed.
Sports The college has sports facilities for all students and is evincing keen interest in developing the sports activities of the students inside the campus. Students are provided with all facilities to participate actively in sports and games at the district, state, and national levels. Excellent Sports & games facilities with Basketball ground, Cricket ground, Football ground, Hockey, Kabaddi ground, Kho Kho court, Volley Ball Court, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Multi Gymnasium are made available to the students so as to enable them to have the sound physique.
