Having successfully completed two years in the new campus we move on with pride and characteristic enthusiasm. Along with the verdant surroundings, state of the art infrastructure and optimum facilities, it has been the contribution of the faculty and students that has made it a memorable year. One of the highlights of the academic year that went by has been the elevation of our Principal Dr. Mahipatsinh Chavda to the post of the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. It has been a well deserved appointment and we at L.D. Arts College wish him every success in carrying out his responsibilities.
Once again, in the last academic year, L.D. Arts lived up to the various benchmarks it has continuously been setting in its 82 year old journey. Faculty, Administrative Staff as well as Students not only adapted well to the changed surroundings but made optimum use of all the extra facilities provided. This year marks the successful completion of the second graduation batch from the new campus.
The past year has been one that has given us a tremendous sense of satisfaction. As the mantle of responsibility falls on me, I realise the immense seriousness of being at the helm of a NAAC accredited 'A' Grade college. There is little doubt in my mind that the zeal to take the college to even greater heights will in no way diminish.

- Boys Hostel
The college has a boys’ hostel, with a capacity of 200 students, and has separate blocks for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Each block has a mess and dining hall and is equipped with a hot water supply, water coolers, sports facilities, and provision for indoor games. - Girls Hostel
The college has a Hostel that is within walking distance from the college and offers accommodation to girl students. 60 seats are available in college. - Library
The college library houses more than 84500 books including some very rare editions and subscribes to a number of periodicals and magazines. It has a well-equipped reference books section and a reading room for students. It also has an electronic copier. The college library has been computerized through the software SOUL. Approximately 40000 books have been computerized so far. - Sports
The college's two large playgrounds provide scope for a number of sports and athletic activities. Located here are separate grounds for cricket, football, handball, volleyball, kho-kho and kabaddi, and a 200m running track. - Cafeteria
The college campus provides outdoor seating, with a canteen nearby for refreshments. - Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. - Medical/Hospital
The College has a first-aid kit that is kept ready in the hostel. The Institute also utilizes the university health center facility which is within a kilometer. In the case of emergencies, the Institute uses the facilities of the doctors who are on the panel of AES. - Wifi
The College has a Wi-fi facility that has been provided free of cost on the entire campus, to enable staff and students to access educational websites and e-libraries. - IT Infrastructure
The college has a are three well-equipped computer laboratories, with internet connectivity and an overhead projector. These laboratories have, in all, 65 computers for students alone. - Classrooms
The College has a are 31 spacious and well-ventilated classrooms in college out of these, two are fitted with audiovisual faculties facilities including two overhead projectors, and routinely used for workshops, presentations, seminars, and discussions. - Laboratories
The College has an English language laboratory that has 25 computer stations with the necessary software for teaching-learning and practice. Courses of varying durations are conducted under the guidance of trained staff, Geography Laboratory, A well-equipped Geography laboratory has been set up for undergraduate students, Psychology Laboratory, The Psychology laboratory permits both undergraduate and postgraduate students to conduct practical work. It contains the apparatus and materials required to perform experiments and administer psychological tests. - Parking Facility
The College has a spacious parking facility that exists on the college grounds for vehicles of staff and students. - Guest Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
