Lady Doak College is affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. It is a unit of the Katie Wilcox Education Association, a Christian Educational Trust. Lady Doak College was granted autonomous status in 1978. Lady Doak College campus is spread over 18 acres of land with a total faculty strength of 244 and total number of student enrollments is 4571. The college has been ranked at 87th position in NIRF College Ranking 2021. In NIRF ranking 2020, it was ranked 52 in college category.
There are currently 26 Undergraduate, 15 Postgraduate, 9 M. Phil., 4 Diploma, 3 PG Diploma, and 10 Certificate courses available at the college. The departments of Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, History, Physics, Tamil, and Zoology have been designated as Research Centres by Madurai Kamaraj University. The college offers a wide range of facilities and infrastructure to its students. The college also offers scholarships and placement opportunities to all its students.

The college is just 4 km away from Madurai Junction railway station and candidates can easily access the college by taking an auto-rickshaw or a taxi from there. Lady Doak College is just a walking distance of 700 meters from OCPM Back Gate Bus Stop, PT Rajan Road, Zumbro Puram, Goripalayam, Tamil Nadu. The Madurai International Airport is 14.5 kms away from the campus. Candidates can easily reach the campus by hiring a cab or a taxi.

- Girls Hostel
Accommodation in residential halls is given only to bonafide students of the college of the current academic year. Nine residential halls, each under the care of faculty Resident Hall Supervisors, provide residential accommodation for approximately 600 students. To ensure comfortable living for all students in all the hostels, each hostel is equipped with facilities like, newspaper/magazines, indoor games, television and intercoms. - Gym

Lady Doak College Madurai has two well-equipped multipurpose halls which are used for the major cultural events of the college. Both the auditoriums have a single stage LCD projector and two ultra-short throw audience projectors, well-equipped audio facility and desktop computer with high speed network connectivity. - Medical/Hospital
Lady Doak College Madurai has a health centre with first aid, emergency care facility for students. Qualified doctors visit the health centre daily in the evening for the checkup of the students and faculty members. The clinic has three nursing assistants of which at least one is available round the clock for the benefit of the students. - IT Infrastructure
ICT facility is extensively used for Teaching-learning and evaluation by using 20 ICT enabled classrooms and the multimedia facility. All the department staff rooms have Wi-Fi connectivity with internet bandwidth of 16 Mbps BSNL leased line. This ensures connectivity for all 750 computers on campus which enables the access of e-resources for the teachers and helps them impart knowledge to the students. - Classrooms

The campus has a guest house/waiting room for visiting faculty, International scholars and student’s family members. There are 10 air conditioned rooms with facilities like 24 hrs power supply, 24 hrs room services. The waiting room also houses a lounge with TV, Wi-Fi enabled internet connectivity with desktop, self-iron facility, intercom and washing machine. - Banks Facilities
The college has a full-fledged branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) on campus for the benefit of the students.
