Lady Shri Ram College (LSR) is a leading women’s higher education institute in India. The college was established by the late Sir Shri Ram in New Delhi in 1956 in memory of his wife and hence the name Lady Shri Ram. With 243 students, 9 teachers, 4 support staff, and three different courses of study, the college began in a school building in Daryaganj, Central Delhi. The institution's goal was to ensure that women could receive a high-quality education. The college is also ranked 2nd as per the NIRF ranking for college 2021. 

LSR is located in a massive 15 acre campus in South Delhi with a total strength of approximately 3270 students. LSR has over 98 faculties and 16 academic departments. Under the inspirational Chairmanship of late Dr. Bharat Ram, an industrialist and philanthropist, the college reverberates with academic and extracurricular achievement.

LSR is dedicated to fostering and developing women who are prepared to be global citizens: women who are proud of their culture and heritage while still having a cosmopolitan view of today's environment and a sensibility that embraces diversity in all of its joyful vibrancy. Women who receive an education at LSR are able to balance excellence with humanity, celebrate diversity, and redefine success. The focus is on pedagogy that is liberating. LSR is located in Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi, at 86B, Nandi Vithi Rd, N Block, Greater Kailash I. LSR is at a distance of 15 kilometre from Indira Gandhi International Airport. The institute's closest railway station is Lajpat Nagar Railway Station, which is 3.8 kilometre away. Kailash Colony Metro Station, which is just 550 metres away from the campus, is the closest metro station. Lajpat Nagar Bus Depot, at a distance of 2.4 kilometre, is the nearest bus stop to LSR.

  • The Department of Elementary Education at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, in collaboration with IQAC, will hold an online workshop for school math teachers and teacher educators on "Pedagogical Opportunities for Technology Enabled Explorations in the Mathematics Classroom.". 

  • Prof. PC Joshi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, as well as the Director of the South Campus, Prof. Suman Kundu, and the Dean of Colleges, Prof. Balaram Pani, visited Lady Shri Ram College For Women.

  • Girls Hostel
    The hostel has 200 rooms which can accommodate about 300 students. It provides 24X7 access to college wifi. A common room is available in the hostel with a television and sound system. The hostel also has an infirmary with basic medicines for the benefits of the students.

    The library of  LSR is well-equipped and well-stocked with books. It has more than 1 lakh books and subscribes to 150 national and international journals. The library is fully computerised with the LIBSYS management system.
  • Sports
    LSR promotes sports for the well being of their students. Students can be  part of various sports such as Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Air rifle shooting, Air pistol shooting, Swimming, Volleyball, Squash, Judo, Lawn tennis, Table Tennis, Artistic gymnastics, Rhythmic gymnastics, Golf and Equestrian. Yoga and aerobics classes are also organised regularly at LSR.

    The cafeteria of LSR caters hygienic food and beverages to students at reasonable prices.
  • Auditorium
    The auditorium of the Lady Shriram College for Women has a seating capacity of 700, with an advanced system for light and sound. The sound system of the auditorium is a 12-channel mixer with a studio master. The auditorium is used to organise cultural events and other events at the institute. LSR also has 3 air-conditioned seminar halls with a seating capacity of 100 people. They have audio-video facilities as well as individual microphones.

    Lady Shriram College has a medical room which consists of two beds. The emergency room also has first-aid supplies, a wheelchair, and a blood pressure monitor. A nurse is available on campus to assist sick students
