Malabar College of Advanced Studies

Malabar College of Advanced Studies (MCAS), a resourceful destination for higher studies in Malabar, came into existence in 2013 under  the Malabar Educational and Charitable Trust. The Trust, constituted by a circle of dedicated educationalists and socially committed philanthropists, strives to meet the demands of the society, especially of its backward communities. Uplifting the marginalized by holding the religious harmony, the Trust, through the college thus realized its aspiration of providing a series of academic and research programmes in the frontier branches of Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, and Humanities. MCAS is an academic approach aimed to achieve impeccable curricular and co-curricular credentials by fostering a creative teaching-learning atmosphere founded on intellectual curiosity and emotional maturity.
The College is situated at Parakkanni, Vengara 12 km away from the district headquarters, Malappuram, and 15 km away from the University of Calicut. The location is enriched with a healthy climate surrounded by serene and attractive hills and mountains. Malabar College of Advanced Studies, Vengara is aided by the Government of Kerala and affiliated with the University of Calicut. The college is included in the list of 2(f) of UGC Act and certified with ISO 9001:2015. The college aims to credit with the provision of the best education to the learners through instilling human values and inducing leadership qualities and thereby developing resolute patriotism. The institution offers nine undergraduate programmes in Arts, Commerce and Science.
