Boys Hostel
The College Gents Hostel is located inside the campus. The three-floor building with a total capacity of 32 rooms which accommodates 4 members. Each student is provided with a cot, table, chair, shelf, and cupboard in their respective rooms. Each room is provided with a ceiling fan. Out of 32 rooms, 12 are attached. There is one common prayer space, recreation space, and one office room on the ground floor. There are study areas on each floor. To involve in group studies, the students can make use of the study hall. Quality purified water is provided to the students using a water purifier. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in the hostel. The hostel is equipped with an inverter of 3 KVA to provide students with an uninterrupted power supply. 24 hours security service is provided for the hostel. The students can relax by involving in indoor or outdoor games during their leisure time. For relaxation and newsgathering, the students can make use of Television which is available within the Mess hall.
Girls Hostel
The College lady's Hostel is located inside the campus. The hostel campus was inaugurated on February 26th, 2015 starting with a three-floor building with a total capacity of 32 rooms. Now the building area has been expanded to four floors with a total capacity of 45 rooms. Each student is provided with a cot, a table, and a chair in their respective rooms. Each room is provided with a ceiling fan. A spacious dining hall with a seating capacity of around 120 students at a time. Quality purified water is provided to the students using a water purifier. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in the hostel. The hostel is equipped with an inverter of 3KVA to provide students with an uninterrupted power supply. 24 hours security service is provided for the hostel. The students can relax by involving in indoor or outdoor games during their leisure time. For relaxation and newsgathering, the students can make use of Television which is available within the Mess hall.
Gym
The College renders a well-equipped Gym inside the campus itself, catering to the needs of fitness enthusiasts. Students and staffs are free to use this facility to keep their health in good condition. Staff and students can utilize the Gym facility in the early morning and evening times.
Library
The College has an excellent collection of 18,853 books, 62 journals and magazines, and non-book materials. Books are classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme. The Library provides campus-wide IP- enabled access to online journals like DELNET, IETE, National Digital Library, Information from National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and other Electronic Resources are also available for the user community. The Library reading space can accommodate more than 150 students.
Sports
The College Department of Physical Education is a vital part of education, in order for the optimum development of an individual physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. The aim and objective of the department are to provide adequate facilities, infrastructure, and activities that are wholesome and attractive to the students and staff to showcase their physical and mental ability. Sports and games not only create a lively environment on the campus, but it also gives a platform for the students and staff to develop their motor skills, leadership quality, refine their respective sporting skills and bring students and staff at a level of better understanding, co-operation and sharing. Thus the Department takes all effort to organize events, coach, and train the students and staff to perform at various levels. The selected students are given rigorous training and coaching by the Physical Education department. The physical education department conducts various sports and games events every year in the college. The intra-college leagues for games like football, basketball, volleyball, and annual sports meet are the main events. Our students have bagged positions at the inter-departmental, inter-collegiate, University, and National level competitions. MBITS football team secured the fourth position in KTU and were zonal level 1st runner up.
Cafeteria
The College has got a fully furnished, spacious canteen with modern facilities. The canteen always takes care to serve hygienic and delicious food for both staff and students inside the campus. A variety of south Indian food and snack items are provided to the students and staff of the college at highly subsidized rates with the highest quality. Our college canteen is blessed with a family atmosphere, with a variety of delicacies, touched by a homemade flavor, cooked to perfection, and served with great courtesy. Refreshments are available at the college canteen at affordable rates. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time.
